ThinkVantage Access Connections 6.26.88

Access Connections is a connectivity-assistant program for your ThinkPad or 3000 Family notebook computer. With Access Connections, you can quickly switch network settings and Internet settings by selecting a location profile.
Each location profile stores all of the network and Internet configuration settings that are needed to connect to a network infrastructure from a specific location such as home or work. The network connection can be made using a modem, a wired network adapter (Ethernet or Token Ring), a Broadband device (DSL, cable modem, or ISDN), or a wireless network adapter. Virtual Private Networking (VPN) connections also are supported.

By switching among location profiles as you move your computer from place to place, you can quickly and easily connect to a network without manually reconfiguring your settings or restarting your computer. Access Connections also allows you to view and connect to Bluetooth devices and set Bluetooth security options.

[Problem fixes]
- Fixed an issue where old MFC DLL was installed.
- Fixed an GINA (Graphical Identification and Authentication) issue with
Safeboot disk encryption software.
- Fixed an issue that cleared the WOL (Wake-on LAN) settings in the Device
Manager when restarted and followed the WOL settings in Access Connections.
- Fixed an issue where wireless WAN connection failed when clicking Find WAN if
WAN service type was Only use 3G network or Automatic.
- Fixed an issue where connection fail for wireless WAN appeared on Windows
logon screen after reboot, even though a PIN for wireless WAN was not yet
entered, when the option, "When no other connections are available, connect
through wireless WAN or WiMax.", was enabled in the location switching menu.
- Fixed an issue where the following internal error might appear when clicked on
connection log and entered PIN code on pop-up window.
"Internal error(Error code = 1). API failed.".
- Fixed an issue where WAN radio could not be turned off by Fn+F5 key operation
and wireless WAN profile automatically made a connection when the option,
"When no other connections are available, connect through wireless WAN or
WiMax.", was enabled in the location switching menu.
- Fixed an issue that did not have the Disconnect option in Access Connections
on the system tray when got connected to wireless LAN or wireless WAN.
- Fixed an issue where a roaming prompt might not appear if a wireless WAN
profile was applied with wireless WAN radio OFF before connecting.
